Project improvement Part 1

The biggest and the best improvement I managed to make was the revamping of my logo, No longer just a basic through together of images I was able to to take my eagle and put it through the various methods and effects of photoshop 3d render to make3d glass like logo piece.  After a few hours of tinkering I really Like how it turned out, a very cultured appearance.

(Initial Eagle)
Another major improvement I made was to bring the temple to life. I added some props I made and fire lighting. I also completely reset the substance textures and used the settings they had to best set the light reflect off of them. I feel that the rework made the temple nave so much more life a greek god oracle temple.

Also a shieldght i made and textured in maya.

I want to add pagan religious to my temple, like the common
sight of a sword in a pedestal.  This is something that rings well in the
minds of gamers especially those whoa are familiar with
historical myth titles like the legend of zelda
I feel like this would give the temple i created more character
aside from just a dark stony building.
The hammer I modeled and rendered out is based off a
common God hammer, like the norse god Thor and the greek god
Hephaestus. I figure this would make a good weapon for a pedestal

Another big improvement to the temple I wanted to add was ancient wall art. Something I would pull into illustrator or photoshop, sketch out from a template then add to some of my walls. Ancient art is famous for being meaningful yet not overly complex so I think It would be a good idea.

Substance replacement

This was a fun add on. I replaced all the basic textures with substances, aka textures that have all of the individual surfaces (bumbs, fusses, skins ext) needed to make a read in game all in one.  you cans see the huge improvements to the temple set up. I added a few props to complement the better lighting and add to atmosphere  to it actually being a temple.

Actually replacing the basic textures with more complicated substances Was no that hard, it was the tedious adjustment of the lighting and every point and directional light to try and make the refection really stick the way I wanted to, that was the had part. But as i was doing it I kind of found myself realizing what direction I wanted to go with this particular temple being a hades temple (god of the dead), something in the greek civilization.

I didn't want to over flow the area with props because I liked the grey coldness that came with the stone textures and how the light related off of it so in such a amrble way. I also like the erry greek oracle like theme came with the fog on the thrid pic. In my game Idea this would fit as being A kind of dark hades greek temple.

This one really hits at the more shadowed lower level textures that make up most of the central hallways in my maze structure. This kind of rustic stone texture is what forms the bulk of my temple maze.not how the light hots the texture reveling the rustic brokeness of it and the decay of water and tinge
heres another example of the general dark stone texture in and throughout the body of my structure. Im using stairways in it so I looked long and hard to find an appropriate refrence.
This Temple of Zeus is a good representation of the moral marble clean glorious parts of the maze. I love the essence of power and Prestige it has.
