Substance replacement

This was a fun add on. I replaced all the basic textures with substances, aka textures that have all of the individual surfaces (bumbs, fusses, skins ext) needed to make a read in game all in one.  you cans see the huge improvements to the temple set up. I added a few props to complement the better lighting and add to atmosphere  to it actually being a temple.

Actually replacing the basic textures with more complicated substances Was no that hard, it was the tedious adjustment of the lighting and every point and directional light to try and make the refection really stick the way I wanted to, that was the had part. But as i was doing it I kind of found myself realizing what direction I wanted to go with this particular temple being a hades temple (god of the dead), something in the greek civilization.

I didn't want to over flow the area with props because I liked the grey coldness that came with the stone textures and how the light related off of it so in such a amrble way. I also like the erry greek oracle like theme came with the fog on the thrid pic. In my game Idea this would fit as being A kind of dark hades greek temple.

  1. really great upgrade. to improve break up texture areas with new materials and add more paint effects and simple objects to bug open areas.
