Image for potential rules set up
Here are some basic schematics for a page setup.
It should be simple, its a simple game, and requires only a brief into with a short set of rules and maybe two pictures. its important to keep tutorials simple especially sense it is a simple game.
This is all it needs
- 1 nice header
-1 Rules (short)
-1 basic intro and background about the game
- 1 basic image of the hand gesture required for each hand
Keep it simple in worlds but make it inviting with some kind of imagery
However its important to make it inviting, make it seem like a game, the writing has to be simple but the images used can be the more complex part that is important to grab the player.
This is a great image I found that really presents it as a game, and invites the player to view it as a game
but one could add nice background and wallpaper in order make the rules look more instructing. this grabs the reader better and makes getting into a new process easier and quicker.
These would be on top or in the backround of the rules sheet

Final

Great research phase...I really understand where you were heading with this design based on your post. I like the extra focus to detail...finding graphics to support the composition that were outside of the core graphics. In the future, please separate out your research posting for Thursday and your final posting for Tuesday. Also please follow the naming guidelines for the posting title in the syllabus. As for your final deliverable post, I see a good execution of design from your research phase. I like the colorful background that also consists of paper to draw back to the game idea. The placement of the graphics look good but the graphics need to be refined to be more consistent with each other. I like that you chopped out the background of the images but their colors can be corrected to match each other and the background. Also please write about your design decisions when you post up.
